Study undera philosopher. One idea a day.
Choose a mentor. Each day they give you one passage in their own words, a short reading, and a question to carry around. When something doesn't sit right, ask them.
Today, with Marcus Aurelius
All things are implicated with one another, and the bond is holy; and there is hardly anything unconnected with any other thing.
A session is one idea you can hold for a day.
- The passage
- A sentence or two in the mentor's own words, from a named translation. Never paraphrased, never "attributed to".
- The reading
- Three minutes on where the passage comes from and what it was answering. Written from the primary text.
- The question
- One prompt to think through. Your answer goes in your journal, where only you can read it.
- The dialogue
- Ask the mentor what they meant, or tell them why they're wrong. They answer in character, from their own work.
Sessions unlock one after another. Finish today's and tomorrow's is waiting.
Twelve mentors. Study with one at a time.
Switch whenever you like. Your place with the old one is kept.

Progress is a line and a word.
No points, no badges. As you study with a mentor, your standing with them changes, and so does what they call you.
